National Rifle Association Membership Benefits

Founded in 1871, the NRA is America's oldest and largest gun rights organization, with over 5,000,000 members. The Education Division is the world's largest provider of Firearms Safety Training, through their network of thousands of firearms instructors. These instructors teach a variety of courses throughout the year, spanning hunter education, safety classes for children, Boy Scout rifle teams, Basic Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun, Refuse to be a Victim, personal defense, and other topics. In many states, including Texas, the NRA certifies that handgun license instructors are also qualified pistol instructors.

The political action branch lobbies politicians to pass legislation supporting the 2nd Amendment, and supporting the Founders' intentions in giving us the right to own and bear firearms.

• ArmsCare Coverage: Membership includes $2,500 in coverage for your firearms, air guns, bows and arrows against theft, accidental loss and damage.
• Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage: Annual members receive $5,000 of coverage for accidents at, or to and from, an NRA event. It also covers accidents that occur during the use of firearms or hunting equipment. If a member joins for life, the coverage doubles!
