Ruger GP100<br \/>9. Smith and Wesson Model 686<br \/>8. Smith and Wesson Model 640 Pro Series<br \/>7. Ruger SP101<br \/>6. Smith and Wesson 340 M&amp;P<br \/>5. Smith and Wesson Model 442<br \/>4. Smith and Wesson Model 642<br \/>3. Taurus Executive .38 (added)<br \/>2. Kimber K6S (was #5)<br \/>1. Smith and Wesson Model 66 (was #10)<br \/><br \/><\/p>\n<p>A few notes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The S&amp;W 66 is a classic, and does not deserve to be in last place.<\/li>\n<li>The Kimber is a stunningly well-made compact gun, with great sights.<\/li>\n<li>The Taurus is an example of their new CEO&#8217;s commitment to quality.<\/li>\n<li>The S&amp;W 686 and Ruger GP100 are very good, but a bit large for carry guns.<\/li>\n<li>Honorable Mention: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Taurus 605<\/span>, a lightweight .357 suitable for pocket carry.
